  • an existing floor, for instance when restructuring flat roofs, terraces and balconies, without having to remove any previous substrate;
  • a new surface, for instance on balconies or hallways.
Advantages
GROVE MASSETTO:
- is ready for use;
- can be applied in layers from 1mm to several centimetres thick to all types of substrates;
- offers a low shrink performance.

Self-leveling cement
for substrate smoothing or coloured finishing
NEUTRAL OR COLOURED

LEVEL FINO is a premixed powder providing a very fluid cement mix to apply in self-leveling and highly resistant smoothing layers, setting fast on new or old substrates.
The product offers a remarkable capacity for adhesion to any kind of substrate normally used in the building industry; we recommend, however, preparing the base with specific primers, as indicated below, before laying LEVEL FINO.
Thanks to its special formulation, the product is suitable to be used both indoors and outdoors, with just a few limitations due to substrate conditions.

Range of use
LEVEL FINO NEUTRAL is used as a self-leveling, fast setting smoothing coat prior to further treatments and/or coverings; a thickness of no less than 3 mm is required if high tensile strength materials (parquet, thick resins, etc.) are going to be laid down.
LEVEL FINO COLOURED is used, in layers up to 10 mm thick at a time, as a finishing treatment for:
- Sand and cement screeds,  SC 1, SC 1-R or SC 1-BASE and sand screeds, on evenly absorbing surfaces: if necessary, prime with NORPHEN SW SOLID (see below);
- Natural calcium sulphate or synthetic anhydrite screeds, following NORPHEN SW SOLID treatment (see below);
- Existent ceramic, marble, natural stone, wood, clinker,  stoneware floors (see below on how to prepare the underlying surface).

Advantages

NORDCURE - NORDCURE B

PACKAGING

5 and 20 lt containers
Concrete curing coat

NORDCURE is based on thermoplastic copolymers dissolved in hydrocarbon solvents: following polymerization, they produce a water impermeable film, little permeable to water vapour and offering great resistance to saponification processes. Once applied to concrete, it creates a specific evaporation proof barrier.

Range of use
NORDCURE is used as a setting coat for fresh concrete. Adjusting water evaporation speed can improve concrete mechanical properties and final characteristics, increasing abrasion resistance, reducing surface pulverization and preventing both slab curling and crack formation due to shrinking.

NORDCURE’s major advantage is a fast and easy application, and therefore low cast setting costs, as you can do away with laborious methods involving the use of plastic sheets or wet sand and the inconvenience of having to go back to the yard after work is completed just to remove them.

The product is available in the selfdegradable
NORDCURE B
version.

X-CEM® BASE

PACKAGING

15 kg tub on pallet of 44 tubs
Chloride-free powder admixture for cement mixes

X-CEM BASE is a special chloride-free powder admixture consisting of inorganic compounds to be added to cement mixes (slurries, grouts and concrete) to increase performance both in the green and the set state.

The action of X-CEM BASE allows superfluid and non-segregating mixes to be obtained as well as a considerable reduction in the mixing water.
The low water/cement ratio of the cement mixes obtained using X-CEM BASE results in high strength after short as well as long curing, very limited or no shrinkage at all and a very low microporosity.

Field of application
X-CEM BASE is used as an additive or admixture in the preparation of:
- cement slurries for injection into masonry needing repair;
- cement slurries injected to anchor steel rods, cables, tie rods, …;
- grouts with little or no shrinkage for the repair of r.c. structures;
- superfluid, non-segregating concrete with low water/cement ratio and little or no shrinkage for structural elements in general;
- concrete for industrial floors without or with a limited number of contraction joints;
- high-strength concrete also with short curing (24-48 hours);
- waterproof concrete.

Performance of the mixes with added X-CEM BASE depends on the design mix (in particular on the type and proportion of cement, the type of aggregate and the grading curve), casting methods and site conditions as well as on correct engineering/design of the type of work to be carried out.

Advantages
Cement mixes with added X-CEM BASE have the following basic features:
- high flowability and maintenance of workability;
- low water/cement ratio;
- very little or no shrinkage;
- high strength at 24-48 hours;
- low microporosity
X-CEM BASE is compatible with all types of cement.
